Camping has given me memories to last a lifetime. I recall campers returning from many a Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness trip, bounding along trails with newfound confidence, joy in the voice and sparkle in the eye. Somehow the experience of camping, sharing a profound experience with friends, old and new, invigorates the spirit, challenges the mind, and rewards with abundant insight and learning. Camp Jordan in the News!
Dave Orca and I LOVE to talk about camp. During camp all your counselors, and the camp directors live and breath camp for 9 weeks straight. Through staff training, Camp Hope, Sleep Away Camp, Adventure Seekers trips, and Leaders School all we think about is camp. And then, in mid-August, something terrible happens... CAMP ENDS!
